Anti-mormon bias

This is just bullshit. It was bullshit 47 years ago when a Catholic ran for President and it's bullshit now.

I won't vote for Mitt Romney because I think he's an asshole who will ruin the country. His religion doesn't play into it one way or t'other.

You're sorta missing the point, here. The poll says one in four voters won't support a Mormon candidate on the basis of that candidate's religion. Obviously, you're one of the other three who make their decision based on something else. How is that bullshit?

It's bullshit because 25 percent of voters will exclude a candidate from consideration purely on the basis of his religion.

That is, indeed, bullshit.

But does it surprise you?

Surprise? Absolutely not. Still gets me angry, though.

Worse still is the number of people who would exclude an atheist...
