Not enough hours in the day
Last week Corey mentioned to me that he was done with mediocre television and anxiously awaiting the return of shows he liked. Perusing the backlogged contents of my DVR, I realized there's a lot of good television that I recorded this season which I haven't even watched yet.
I've got several episodes of Medium to watch, for example, and almost the entire season of The Sopranos (all -- what? -- eight shows?). We've still got half a season of In Justice, some episodes of Ghost Hunters and at least three or four episodes of Doctor Who and a few stragglers from Boston Legal and the season finale of Thief.
Plus the season premiere of Deadwood starts tonight; BBC America just started showing Hex; IFC TV is showing Samurai 7 and FX is now showing Rescue Me. It just keeps piling on and on. It's an embarassment of riches.

Is that Doctor Who the one with Chris Eckleson?
I'm curious: Is "In Justice" and "Ghost Hunters" good? I haven't seen either.
I should start coming to you for more advice on what to watch. I think you have your act together where maximizing TV goodness is concerned.

Both of them are what I'd file under "guilty pleasures." Left to my own devices, I wouldn't watch In Justice, but it features Kyle Maclachlan, which always puts Bonnie in a frisky mood, so I keep that around for times when I need to heat it up a bit.
As far as Ghost Hunters is concerned, it's a reality show that follows these guys who work as Roto Rooter plumbers by day and research supposedly haunted locations at night. Sometimes they debunk the phenomena that are reported, but sometimes they come across some crazy-ass inexplicable shit that makes your jaw drop. It's loads of fun.

I just finished watching Taken again with my wife, just before the start of the new season of 4400. It's interesting to see the number of actors from Taken who are working on 4400 as well.
Taken was superbly done. 4400 feels a bit like X-men about to happen. I wonder who's going to become Magneto and Xavier on that show. :)

I really like Boston Legal. It probably the best law show I can remember. The sense of humour that prevades is quite good fun. Rescue Me is rather good as well; althought the first season is probably the best.
