And the language the anchors use. "so and so HAD A DISAPPOINTING RUN AND FAILED TO BRING HOME A MEDAL" instead of "posted his best time ever, but missed the podium by 2/100s of a second".
I wasn't watching when they talked about women's hockey, I can only imagine how disparaging and negative they would have been. If you can get it, the CBC is only slightly better, but at least they're more positive in their banter.
