One of many reasons...

...why I don't watch American Idol and pretty much hate most poppy R&B. But definitely one of the more annoying reasons.

I think the worse part of watching US Idols are the egotistical pricks who get rejected because so and so "can't handle me" - "I'm too much of a man/woman for them" - "can't see talent" - etc etc etc.

Who are these people? At what point in their upbringing did they become void of any sense of humility, dignity, inner-reflection, or self-criticism? How on earth did they get so far through life without anybody shutting them down or bringing them back down to earth?

I blame new age parenting. Nothing a spanking wouldn't set straight.
