What sucks about it? He died in his home, surrounded by his family, at the ripe old age of 89, after a rich and full life of tremendous artistic achievement, and professional accolades. He was handsomely rewarded for work that loved. He even got to have sex with Marilyn Monroe for chrissakes! I'm not seeing the tragedy here.

What sucks about it the most is that no one has really replaced him in stature as America's greatest living playwright...
