Motorola V710?

So Verizon Wireless is finally adding a Bluetooth-equipped phone that works with their CDMA-based cell phone service -- the Motorola V710. Verizon's got good coverage area for the places I work and visit and their service plans seem all right; I've oft considered getting a plan through them but put it off because of the lack of Bluetooth connectivity to my Mac.

I've looked through Motorola's pages on the V710, but based on past sketchy reports of Motorola phones and iSync support, I'm wondering if anyone has any hands-on experience with this model or similar models.

I just got the Motorola V80 and bluetooth worked fine transfering ringtones and photos to my powerbook. I haven't tried iSync though.

I've had the Motorola V600 for about three months and it works fine with my G5 at home.

I have just purchased the V710 and with either Bluetooth or USB, iSync doesn't recognize the phone. Does anyone have any further information on the V710 talking to my mac?

Well I've been waiting for a bluetooth phone from Verizon for a while now, And I'm excited to finally get this one today! I'm sure the features and quality are probably on par or better than most other phones in it's class. But the only reason I upgraded to this phone is so I could sync it to my address book on my OSX mac with bluetooth. So I wouldn't need to constantly manually update my cell phone with new numbers... It doesn't look like the 710 supports this activity... Doesn't say it can do it with windows either, Thus my low review score. Motorolla blows it for not implementing the most useful bluetooth feature! Maybe I'm not hip - but who has time to play with low rez photo's that take forever to e-mail or 5 sec of video... I think address syncing is WAY more important than that stuff... And as far as wirless headsets & in-car hands free, ya that's cool but every bluetooth phone will do that !! ... Now I must participate in the most loathsome practice of copying my address book from one phone to another.....manually.........Shoot me now.....
Vacuums Poop in my book....

I got this phone the other day and was very disappointed. However, iSync did find my phone when I connected it via USB through the Apple Display. The first time I tired it though through my Hub and it found nothing. Anyways Address book syncing was the main reason I go thtis but I didnt know I was gunna have to pay an extra 40 bucks for a USB cable. I would rather do this like everyone else - wirelessly through bluetooth. And it would help if I were able to transfer stills, video and mp3's to and from also.
