Dreamcast love

I still love my Dreamcast, but I really have neglected it. It's been at least 9 months since I fired up the Dreamcast last, but today James was hankering to play a racing game and picked out Daytona USA by himself. I fired it up -- on the projector of course -- and was stunned to realize that the Dreamcast looks every bit as good as the games I'm playing on the PS2 and GameCube as well. It was a hell of a good game system, and died a premature death that it totally didn't deserve.

I couldn't agree more. The integration of the VMU with the display in the controller was - well groundbreaking. If you look at the DS - that's all Nintendo is really doing. Playing Football on the cast with the ability to see your own plays was great.

Well at least you can collect all the games and play them still. Also at Lik-sang there is a ton of new stuff for the system.

You're so right! dreamcast was the best thing to hit the games consle scene since, since, GAMES CONSOLES!! and there has not been anything better than it since! ps2 (crap) gamecube (small) xbox (chunky & fat, just like my american friend! (not meant to be prejudice, he is really fat! and happens to be american, hey if he was fat & sweedish then i would say my fat sweedish friend!)) and dreamcast (slim and beautiful), i can't help kissing it, its just like on the simpsons, when homer hugs the tv & marge says "are you hugging the tv?" and he replys "no!" that is just like when i am hugging my dc and my wife shouts "are you hugging that buggering machine?" and i shout "no!" The dreamcast's heart, the hitachi sh4 RISC processor, clocking at 200mhz may not be as fast as ps2's emotion engine, but it sure is more reliable, my ps2 (dreded thing, loobed out the window!) broke down on me, and overheated, just like my ye old neo geo cdz! bring on the dreamcast, put it back in production! if your wandering why i can speak english although i'm sweedish, i studied at oxford university! (the best uni in the world!)
