My mail carrier
Wears surgical gloves. Given the whole anthrax thing that happened and other such events, I can't blame her. But it really creeps me out that THAT is the world we live in.

Anthrax is scary, but if she's supplementing her income with home-visit proctology exams, that might be scarier. You should ask about the gloves before accepting that new MacMall catalog.

Depends. I've always been curious about that prostate-massaging procedure I've read about in the men's magazines...

I took a close look at my mail carrier today: no gloves.

It's probably to protect her hands from drying out from handling all that paper. Our FedEx guy does the same thing - but he wears the purple nitrile surgical gloves (I work in a hospital) - looks really funny!!!
