Dear peter cohen,
Thank you for your patience. Your DSL Order is still being processed.
However, we are experiencing a delay in activating your service on
telephone number (508) xxx-xxxx. Please know that we are working
diligently to provide you with service.
Your revised Estimated Service Ready date is 12/30/2003*.
We will keep you updated on the status of your order through e-mail so
please check it regularly. We will contact you by telephone once your DSL
service is ready.
Comments
From the "Small Consolation" file: When my DSL was hooked up it was actually running three weeks before they gave me the call. I just tried it one day and there it was. When I got the phone call saying "Congratulations. Your service is up" I was like "Yeah. I know. I've been using it for three weeks". The office that sends out the "We'll let you know" emails doesn't seem to be very well connected to the people who set up the service. Just for the hell of it, try your new DSL every few days and see if you get lucky.
