Spam gone wild?
Has anyone else been pummelled by spam today? I get a really high volume of spam most days anyway, but today my .Mac account and an account at work have both gotten nailed with a much higher volume than usual.
Normally my .Mac account might get five to 10 spams per day. Today it was more like 30. And at work, I usually field a couple of hundred per day, but it's more like 5 or 600 just this morning.

I was wondering the same thing. I used to never get much spam on my .mac account, and then yesterday and today suddenly 10-20 pieces every few hours.

Yeah, I've gotten a ton of drug emails this week. Enterprising spamsters must have caught on that the new Medicare bill is a shuck.

Yes, I've been hit with a huge spam blast on my .Mac account. I'm happy to see I'm not alone.

Yeah, got about 70 or so on Thanksgiving day, more than double my usual amount, with few duplicates. About 4 or 5 got past Mail's Junk filter, and had to be marked manually. Some on Friday, just 6 so far today.

I normally get mild amounts of spam, usually only about 100 or so a day. Got home the other night with 800 in my inbox. 3 legit emails. I still cant trust mail.app's filtering either, it keeps tagging good stuff.

Dude, I was chillin' after mass turkey consumption, riding that mellow wave of tryptophan, when I spied three times as much spam as usual at my Inbox. Made me sad.

Yeah I got pummelled with the stuff as well. Nice to see spammers don't take T-Day off.
