What were they thinking?

It's rare that a game will evoke any sort of emotional response, unless you count ennui. That was one of the great things about reviewing Bloodrayne. I tangibly detested the experience so much, the muse really spoke to me. I got some great feedback from that review, and heartily encourage Mac game makers to continue to make crap so I can occasionally let loose with a barrage of sardonic wit in print now and again.

That's why I'm just scratching my head at this news. Did these morons learn NOTHING from the mediocre pile of poop that was Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life?

Funny, I just saw a trailer for a new vampire movie coming out this fall that seems to play exactly like the ads for Bloodrayne; my first thought was that the game was a takeoff of that movie!

As for funny reviews of bad games, I must give the cake to MacAddict's review of the Survivor game.

The movie you are refering to is entitled "Underworld" I do not know about the movie, but the soundtrack is definitely worth a look, Pucifer(another Maynard sideproject) Bowie, and a few other interesting things compiled by Danny Lohner.

Romeo & Juliet + Vampires + Werewolves + Really Loud Soundtrack + Matrix knockoff effects + Cliched "no red" camera filter = Underworld.

Kate Beckinsale + tight leather pants = bliss
